Cabin Fever!
Well as you all know we went to a cabin at Big Bear in the San Bernadino National Forest. It was a lot of fun for everyone especially the kids who got to sled and just have a good time in the snow. Bear, it turns out, did not like it all that much and spent most of the time on Mamas lap while we were outside playing around, but inside the cabin where it was nice and warm he was having a blast. We all enjoyed it very much, even though on the last day I had to put tire chains on the Sulli”van” only to realize less than 5 miles outside of town I did not even need them so took them off. So enjoy the pics!
I made that……reminded me of Oak Harbor circa 1992!

Bear and Mama!
“thanks for the giant pants MOM!”
“Where’s Russell?”
“Tell me why this is fun again?”
We thought it was funny how Bear’s hair matched the faux bear fur!
The twins, Rusty and Mama slept on the bed, daddy slept on the air mattress, and Bear slept in the playpen and then mama later in the night.
The cabin had a collection of VHS tapes to choose from, I think Bear is pulling out “Platoon” one of his favorites.
Notice the big icicles.
Ready for the drive home!
We were not the only ones to stop and take the chains off.
This place was called “Sky Forest” on the Rim of the World highway.
That’s all for now folks!
